Officially Licensed VR-61 Islanders Squadron Patch

Officially Licensed VR-61 Islanders Squadron Patch — Island Hoppers With a Purpose

Because when the Navy needs cargo moved across the Pacific, the Islanders answer the call.

VR-61, the Islanders, is a Fleet Logistics Support Squadron based at NAS Whidbey Island, Washington, operating the C-40A Clipper as part of the Navy Reserve's fleet logistics mission. The Islanders provide critical airlift capability, moving personnel, cargo, and mail to support fleet operations across the globe. As a reserve squadron, VR-61 is staffed by citizen sailors who maintain their readiness alongside civilian careers — proving that the logistics backbone of the Navy runs strong whether you're active duty or drilling on weekends. This patch represents the squadron's proud identity and their commitment to keeping the fleet connected and supplied.

Perfect For: VR-61 Islanders past and present, C-40 Clipper enthusiasts, Navy Reserve aviators, and anyone who knows logistics wins wars.

From Whidbey Island to anywhere the fleet needs it. Islanders deliver.
